Manessa is the third-largest city of Pesa and the capital of the province Lagalisa. It lies on the southern coast of the island.
Manessa was the unofficial capital of pre-Titovic Pesa, with three-quarters of the population residing in the city at the time. After emergence of port cities such as Santa Anastasia and Port of Lashardia, its importance declined. However, to this day Manessa remains the center of black Pesan culture.
